In this 4-Part Series, navigate with me on my “Journee” to discover and answer the Problem of Pain and Evil.

This problem is by far the number one excuse to disbelieve and/or criticize the sovereign God.

I was one who believed God but struggled to understand the infamous questions of why and how a good and loving God allows so many evils in the world.

God led me on a “Journee,” that started in Israel, 2019, pushed through Babylon entering into 2020, and rested in the Fear of the Lord!

Proverbs 1:7 says, “Knowledge begins with the Spirit of the Fear of the Lord!”

There are 4 stages in the process of suffering that coincides with the walk of salvation.

1. Broken Heart

Psalms 34:18
“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted; He saves the contrite in spirit.”

2. Contrite Spirit (Godly Sorrow)

Psalms 51:17
“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.:

3. Repentance

2 Chronicles 7:14
“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

4. Forgiveness

Colossians 3:13
“Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other, as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.”
